Robert E. Danz, DDS
We run the front desk, therefore we play a very important role in our office. We are the first point of contact when you arrive and the last when you leave. We are funny, lovable, entertaining and knowledgeable. Without us at the front desk, the office would not know what to do!
I have been working in the dental field since 1980, and have been at Dr. Danz’ office since 1994. I feel very fortunate to be able to work in such a wonderful office.
I am happily married for over 28 years and I am delighted to be the mother of a fine young man Ryan. I love RV camping, reading, cross stitch needlework, walking, and spending time on long, sandy beaches with my family.
I began working for Dr. Danz in 1987 at the front desk. I enjoy talking with our patients and watching their families grow.
I am the proud mother of two fine young men, Steven and Joseph, and am happily married for over 30 years. I love Maine, traveling, zumba dancing, and yoga. My husband and I have several classic cars and love attending car shows all over the Northeast.
I am a 1987 Ichabod Crane School District graduate. I pursued a career in dental hygiene at HVCC where I graduated in 1992 with an Associates Degree in Health Science. in 2014 I attended Farmingdale State College where I became licensed to administer Nitrous Oxide and anesthesia.
I continued to attend continuing education courses to stay current with the ever-changing field of dental hygiene.
Over the past 28 years I have been able to follow my passion by caring for my patients in a trusting, high quality environment. I have formed many wonderful friendships along this journey.
Beyond my dental hygiene career, I am the proud mother if a 16-year old son, Connor. He been on a traveling baseball team since the age of 7 years old. The majority of my time is spent enjoying every moment watching him do what he does.
I have always had a passion for fitness and believe that fitness is a life style. in 2018 I followed my passion and became a certified spin instructor.
I am fortunate to be a part of this amazing team.
Upon graduation from Ichabod Crane in 2007, I enrolled in Hudson Valley Community College and completed the Dental Assisting program with a Certificate in Dental Assisting. I began working for St. Peters Dental Clinic in Albany as a dental assistant; at that time I realized I wanted to become a Dental Hygienist. I graduated in 2012 from Hudson Valley Community College with an Associated Degree in Applied Science, dental hygiene in 2012. Along with being certified in CPR and AED, I am licensed to administer nitrous oxide and anesthesia and stay current on continuing education courses as well as now being certified in Laser Pocket Disinfection through the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry.
I was excited to be hired by Dr. Danz in January 2013 and to join his team full time. I am enjoying building relationships with my patients and being able to share in their success in oral health.
I am the youngest of 5 and reside in Valatie, NY with my family. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, running and participating in 5K’s throughout the Capital Region and Yoga.
I graduated Ichabod Crane Central Schools in 1985. Soon after graduating high school, I started working for Albany Dental – GHI Incorporated doing insurance claim forms. A few years later I left Albany Dental to go work for Empire BC/BS as a Surgical Claims Processor. In 1991 I left BC/BS to work for Hudson Valley Orthopedics in Hudson, NY. I worked with Medical Records, Insurance, and eventually as a Medical Assistant.
In 2001 Dr. Danz hired me as his Dental Assistant. I feel truly fortunate to work with Dr. Danz and his fantastic staff. And I love interacting with patients and their families.
I have been married over 20 years to my husband, Rick. In my spare time, I love traveling, cooking and gardening.
